MD. Murat Tezcan was born in Balıkesir in 1968. He graduated with a medical degree from Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 1991, where he enrolled in 1985. In the same year, he began his specialization training in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Uludağ University.

In 1993, he traveled to Haukeland Hospital at Bergen University in Norway on a scholarship from the Norwegian Government to conduct research on burns. Later, he visited the Mednet Hospitals Group in Cleveland, Ohio, USA, to enhance his experience in aesthetic surgery. In 1996, he worked at the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Ege University Faculty of Medicine to receive training in craniofacial surgery.

In 1997, after completing his duties at Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine, he began working at the Esthetic, Plastic Surgery, and Hand Surgery Clinic of Bursa Vatan Hospital. In 1998, he traveled to Paris, France, to receive training in mesotherapy.

MD. Murat Tezcan has numerous domestic and international publications, is married, and speaks English and Italian. He also conducts historical research and has written short stories.
